My profession is picture framing. A few years ago, I retired and have decided to sell the machines I no longer need. One of them is a BVP 65 E /380 Biedermann vacuum laminating press - 1.80x1.30 m. I mostly used it to laminate posters, which I would then frame. However, you can also laminate graphics, drawings, photographs, silk, and batik. The image is bonded to MDF in the machine using heat and pressure with a special film. At the same time, a laminating foil is applied to the image. The finished product is protected not only against dirt but also against UV radiation, and it is overall very lightweight. The lamination surface can be smooth or textured like canvas. Pictures with a textured surface look like they were painted on canvas. Various laminating films are included in the price—see the photo. The vacuum press is in good technical condition.
