Broaching Machine

Rausch RS4/1000

Condition: refurbished (used), functionality: fully functional, Year of construction: 2023, input voltage: 400 V, broaching length: 1,000 mm, number of broaching positions: 1, broaching speed: 3 m/min, Manufacturer: Rausch (Haan/ Rhld) Model: RS 4/1000 Machine No.: 5027 Year of manufacture: 2001/2023 Weight: 580 kg Itsdpfxow H Dgnj Apien Overhauled: 3/2023 by Wiemers AG General / Technical Data: Unused, overhauled mechanical vertical broaching machine Rausch RS 4, with current “CE” certification Pulling force: 40 kN (4,000 kg) Broaching speeds: 3 m/min and 6 m/min Return speed: 6 m/min Maximum stroke: 1,000 mm Maximum tool length: 1,200 mm Table dimensions / Working area: 540 x 340 mm / 450 x 250 mm Table opening: Ø 90 mm for standard broaching mandrels Workpiece diameter: unlimited Dimensions (H x W x D): 2,350 mm x 900 mm x 1,000 mm (with splash-guard cabin) Motor: 4.4 kW / 5.5 kW Power supply: 400 Volt / 50 Hz Accessories / Special equipment: - Drive with 2 speeds - Safety door with interlock and chip chute - Chip chute with tool storage - Electric clamp jaw sensing (tool removal monitoring to prevent unintentional retraction of the drawbridge) - Integrated coolant system with solenoid valve (controlled via swing system) - Patented coolant/lubricant swiveling system - Externally adjustable tool length setting system (reproducible across multiple machines) - 4 central lubrication points for the trapezoidal spindle drive - Closed centering plate for profile tools with additional protection plate for flat broaching tools (keyway tools) - 3-sided enclosed splash guard cabin with tool storage (ideal for profile broaching) - External control panel (connected via Harting plug connector) Remarks: The machine has been completely overhauled, the machine body thoroughly reconditioned. The following wear parts have been replaced: - New trapezoidal spindles and spindle nuts made from cast, wear-resistant bronze - All bearings and seals replaced The coolant system (pump, check valve, and drain valve) including coolant/lubricant swing system is new - Coolant supply is controlled via a solenoid valve, which can be switched over by the swing system - The drawbridge as well as the clamping jaws and rack segments are new - A deactivatable clamping jaw detection system has been installed (additional safety for operator & to prevent tool breakage) - A safety door with interlock, signal display, and door lock - The tool length adjustment system has been relocated outside the machine compartment - Additional end-position limit switches have been installed - Complete new electrical system (control cabinet) - No PLC installed, machine is electrically maintenance-friendly - New drive motor (SEW Germany) with brake - The machine has been freshly painted with 2-component structural paint General The dual spindle drive ensures smooth, centralized pulling force and consistent broaching speed (broaching speed selectable: 3 m/min or 6 m/min). By design, the machine is quick and simple to set up for broaching with flat broaching tools for keyway cutting. Thanks to the universally constructed design of the drawbridge and machine table, operation with both profile and flat broaching tools is possible without the need for additional drawheads.
