The bellows cover protects the spindle and guides. The testing machine is microprocessor controlled and has a membrane keypad. The 2-line LCD display shows the force and travel. The testing machine can be used as standalone or with a PC via USB interface. The displacement is measured by means of an encoder 0.01 mm visible resolution on LCD (internal 0.0001mm).
