The Bielloni Castello Julia 2 SL laminating machine can process single-component PU adhesives with 100% solid content (solvent-free). The adhesive is applied via a sleeve system. Dispersion adhesives cannot be processed. The system does not feature a drying unit. The PU adhesive is applied to the paper web using heated rollers (approx. 70–90 °C). The bond between paperboard and film is achieved by pressure and subsequent self-curing.
