The compressor has been used in the production of fat/margarine. It normally operated at a suction pressure of 0.1–0.2 BAR, which resulted in an evaporating temperature (T₀) of -25°C and a condensing temperature (Tₖ) of +35°C, with a compressor capacity of approximately 100 kW. The compressor can also operate at a lower suction pressure to achieve lower temperatures, for example, between -30°C and -35°C.
