Condition: ready for operation (used), functionality: fully functional, The Multivac R230 thermoforming machine is a packaging system designed to meet industrial requirements for thermoformed packaging, making it particularly suitable for the food and professional sectors. It is capable of producing precise packaging using either semi-rigid or rigid bottom films and flexible top films, ensuring excellent sealing and optimized material usage. Moreover, the machine is equipped with advanced features such as gas flushing or vacuum, which improve the preservation of sensitive products. As a result, it is commonly used for packing meat, cheese, prepared meals, or products that require modified atmosphere packaging. The Multivac R230 is engineered to integrate into production lines, typically with an overall length between 5,800 and 7,800 mm, a width around 1,000–1,100 mm, and a height of approximately 2,050–2,150 mm, depending on the discharge configuration and associated accessories. Despite its industrial size, the machine maintains a compact footprint suitable for existing facilities. Its ability to handle various film formats and molds makes this thermoforming machine versatile for different tray or container sizes. Drive power varies depending on the version and options; several listings indicate installed power ranges from around 8 kW to 14 kW, with a 400 V three-phase power supply (3+N, 50 Hz), ensuring energy efficiency for high-throughput operations. Therefore, the Multivac R230 remains a preferred choice for operators seeking a reliable machine capable of continuous cycles without loss of consistency or precision. Its robust stainless-steel construction and compatibility with labeling or printing systems further support integration into modern packaging lines.
