The DSM 962 is a digitized scanning electron microscope equipped with an integrated 4 MB image memory, a 40 MB internal hard drive for image storage, and drives for external data and image storage.
This enables quick and easy acquisition of information about the composition and morphology of sample surfaces, even down to the sub-micrometer range. With a magnification range of 5x to 300,000x, both the examination of macrostructures and microstructures is possible.
Through special add-ons, the range of applications can be significantly expanded, allowing for analytical investigations in micro-areas of the surface, for example.
The device can be operated using conventional switches as well as via the keyboard or mouse (optional). The electron optics and vacuum control are conventional. Image memory functions are controlled via the keyboard or mouse (optional). Centrally located on the control panel is a separate information screen for displaying the menus.
