Handelsonderneming Jan Kemp B.V., founded in 1965 by Jan Kemp Senior and established in Peest since 1974. In 1997, both sons Jan Willem and Floren joined as partners to take over the shares in full in 2006. The foundation for the company as we know it today was formed during this period. Later, both brothers decide to continue on their own and Jan Willem takes over all the shares. However, they still work together on a large scale on a daily basis.
In the early years, the emphasis for the organization was on repairs and building machines for earth-moving companies. Today, the focus is on machines for the recycling and transhipment industry. This specialized work that Jan Kemp does, makes the company a successful business.
